On Wednesday, I went on my first trip outside of the city since March. I went to visit my family whom I haven’t seen since my knee surgery in January. Because my birthday was in February, there were some presents that have remained uncollected for months.

My sister got me this sage green Wedgwood cameo brooch depicting some cherubs and a butterfly. The mark on the back suggests it was made in 1971. It is very posh!

And speaking of proper British things, I sent my mom some Liberty fabric that I’ve had lying around for ages to make masks. Since I was home, I got to pick them up. It’s very nice material with a gorgeous print and the masks are made to my mother’s exacting standards. She also informed me that she is getting out of the mask-making business. So I got in just under the wire!
