Dollar Glamma

The New York Times was running a Designer DIY series early in the pandemic. I had planned to make every project in the series, but bot I and it ran out of steam. So far I’ve done the Rodarte tea towel tote, a tie dye design by Hillary Taymour tie dye and now this, a blanket coat by former Givenchy designer Clare Waight Keller.

I will try it again using a better wool blanket. I just don’t have one lying around that I’m willing to sacrifice (though I like the colour of this Cheap fleece blanket from Dollarama).

While I was there, I also picked up this glam turban and red lame gloves at the Dollarama. Maybe I should go into the divining business. I’ve got the look for it.
