Summer Skincare: Vichy Aqualia Thermal Aqua-Gel
As I mentioned last month, I went to the Vichy Health Cube to have my skin assessed. I knew that I, like most folks, have combination skin (dry with an oily t-zone). I was, however, surprised to learn that the dry parts were quite dry. After all, it’s been a humid summer so far and I feel mostly oily.
To get moisture with out feeling even greasier, the Vichy experts at the event prescribed the newly launched Aqualia Thermal Aqua-Gel, $35, it felt like the perfect hot summer skincare. Designed specifically for skin that’s been dehydrated by the elements, it contains Vichy Thermal Water, 50 Mg mineral salts, Omega 6 oils, Shea butter, Glycerin, Asiatic acid (Centella Asiatica) Vitamin E, Hyaluronic acid, Lipidure, Otocrylene, Avobenzone, Mexoryl XL and Mexoryl SX. Paraben free. It’s also fragrance, colorant free and paraben free. A light, uncomplicated gel that absorbs quickly – what more could you ask for?
