2014 In Review: Fashions
This year I cut back on buying new clothes drastically, which means that the things that I bought had to be exceptional or functional. I can’t say that everything I got was gold, but looking back on my booty, I have to say I’m pretty pleased. I’ll start with my number one picks, which is a tie between thisthe oversized black and white cardigan (above) and this classic Bonnie Cashin Weatherwear for Russell Taylor coat. The sweater coat is not a designer number but every time I wear it, I get a million compliments. The Bonnie Cashin is, of course, a piece of fashion history and also has many admirers. Both are second-hand store discoveries.
Another amazing find is this Pierre Cardin gown (below). I picked it up at a rummage sale. I have not yet had occasion to wear it yet.
I must pay tribute the workhorses of my wardrobe, such as this long black taffeta skirt (below) that I picked up on the sale rack of Joe Fresh. Or the very cool Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers t-shirt I picked up in Hamilton (bottom).
