Autumn Layers

I was in New York City the week before last visiting my friend Gary and generally just walking about and seeing the sights. I’ll also cop to the fact that I wanted to pick up a few pieces from the Lemaire x Uniqlo collection (which I did and will post about tomorrow). I also checked out a few stalls on Canal Street and some jewellery wholesalers in midtown to see what the trends were. I was attracted by the dainty rings and necklaces that I’ve seen fashionable ladies layer or wear stacked.

And because I am weak, I couldn’t help but pick up more than a few sterling pieces, like the silver horseshoe and Hand of Fatima and evil eye necklaces pictured above. I also bought some rose gold-plated over sterling dainty delights, like these tiny, cubic zirconia set rings. And these bar and chain earrings pictured below.
