Peru Part 2

I promised more Peruvian treasures and today I am finally delivering them. I’ll begin with my most recent acquisition, the flat woven rug pictured above.

And here’s a tapestry that I picked up at a church bazaar back in November or December. The woman who sold it to me said that she bought it at the base of Machu Pichu back in the 1970s. She said that she had it hanging over her orange couch until it finally gave up the ghost.
