Newish Shoes

Just like certain insane people burn all their pants and start wearing shorts only as soon as the temperatures hit 5 degrees celsius, as soon as spring hits I’m usually the first to ditch my socks and shoes at the first sign of spring. But this year, because of corrective measures needed to repair ingrown toenails, my feet are too unattractive to uncover. So I’ve been seeking out footwear options that let my feet breathe while hiding my toes. Here’s what I got so far: (pictured above) A pair of leather babouches (a kind of slipper which Vogue.com is calling the It Shoe of 2016) and vintage Italian leather open weave oxfords.
