DA4D840D-98D2-4B70-A712-491EA4A96676Me and my friend Becky went to see the Dior show at the Royal Ontario Museum yesterday. It was amazing showcase of couture treasures. And while the evening gowns and dresses were to dies for (seriously, I would asphyxiate if I had to get corseted like that), I was also thrilled that the exhibit also contained samples of embellishments such as embroidery and beading.

And jewels. Lots of fantastic examples of costume jewelry from the house of Dior. Like the gripoux and faux pearl necklace pictured above.
