Summer Sales
It has always been a tradition for me to hit the clearance racks in September to get deals on summer fashions for next season. And it is also a ritual to do a little cross border shopping when I visit the States. You would think things would be different now, what with me trying not to buy any new clothes and the Canadian dollar being so devalued against American currency.
But shop I did. I went to Target in Stamford Connecticut in search of Raisinets and a specific cereal box that doubled as a synthesizer and I came away with a gingham top (that looks smashing with my overalls), a ruffled gingham dress (I’m really into checks at the moment), and a gauzy coverup that I was going to wear over my bathing suit when I visited the hotel pool (which I never did because I never got back to the hotel in time for pool opening hours).
