Auction Results

Now that I have pretty much everything I want/need, I am trying to focus my attentions on getting out and collection experiences instead of things. But first I had to go to the Waddingtons Jewelry Auction where I had hoped to win an Gucci Bangle watch (you know, the one with the interchangeable bezels) to replace the one I lost many years ago. But the auction ran late and I had to leave before tag lot came up.

Long story short, I did buy a smal lot of random jewels instead. Mostly because I loved this Victorian hand pin. Victorians, prudish as they were, used symbolism to,signal their secret desires (not unlike an emoji)l. This hand holding a fan represents that the wearer is feeling flirty.
