Things I Didn’t Buy
Just in case you think I have a terrible shopping addiction, I’ll have you know that I leave more things behind than I bring home. Sometimes it’s for practical reasons. Like these Salmon-Hamilton K-700 Stools. They are classics of Canadian Industrial design and as much as I would like to run a chair museum I have too many seats and no place to put them. Plus it was a cold and rainy day and I just didn’t have the energy to haul them home on the subway.
And as fun as this vintage curling broom looks, I don’t need to own it to appreciate it. As we used to say in the playground when some kid was staring at you, “take a picture, it will last longer.”
a chair museum is a FANTASTIC idea!
