Fixin’s
I spent a good chunk of the long weekend working on fixing up or upcycling broken jewel. Pictured above is an opal mosaic pendant (the bale broke off) that I set in a ring that lost its stone. It didn’t quite fit, so I filled in the gap with some Sugru.
And here are some tumbled smokey quartz drops that I added to a vintage silver paper clip chain.
And finally, I found a 1930s celluloid necklace that was missing a flower. So I just rearranged the blossoms to make the piece balanced.
Yeah, not the most drastic of do-overs, but still nice to bring these beauties back to life.
