The Craft
On Monday’s my family has a weekly Zoom Call Trivia Night. Each week we take turns being the quizmaster. And because I come from a long line of crafty people, we also take turns making prizes.
These games are one of the silver linings of the pandemic because in the before times it was difficult to get three generations of people together for even holidays. And we share our homespun projects, which connects us even more.
I don’t have pictures of all the prizes (because I don’t win them all), but I do have some photos of a sweater that my mom knit, a cardigan that I recently embellished for Halloween (a concept that’s been on my to-do list for years), and a pullover that my niece embroidered for me (you can follow her work on Instagram at @insta_stitches). That’s three generations of knit wits.
